About Edenhope
Edenhope is a small country town of 900 people settled on the shores of Lake Wallace in 1845.
Lake Wallace has a well used walking track around it with plenty of Red Gums to offer shade. It is also known for great fishing and recreational area.
Edenhope is surrounded by the farming industry with sheep, cattle and crops.
Shopping
Edenhope has several retail outlets. Foodworks supermarket is located in the main street. Please note that the opening hours are typically more restricted than those in the city, and in most towns the typical opening hours are from 7am-10pm daily.
Dining
Cafes, local hotels and the Motel opening its Restaurant for reservations. Local sporting venues also offering catering (check local papers).
Sports and Recreation
Edenhope has numerous clubs and societies such as football and netball. There is a golf course, and access to many national parks for bushwalking and hiking.

The main bank is the Bendigo Bank which has ATM facilities. Bank hours are typically 9.00am-5.00pm weekdays and 9.00am to Noon on Saturdays.

The Edenhope Post Shop is located in Elizabeth St and is open from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.

Edenhope is located 394 km north-west of Melbourne via Horsham (95 km north-east) and is accessible by car.
The travel time is approximately 4½ hours by car from Melbourne to Edenhope.
