Financial Support
Students visiting the Greater Green Triangle region to undertake a clinical placement during 2008 can access one of two allowance schemes. Both schemes are designed to help students meet the cost of undertaking a placement in the Greater Green Triangle Region.
To be eligible students must:
1. Be enrolled in a recognised health science undergraduate or postgraduate degree at an Australian university.
2. Undertake a minimum clinical placement of 5 days or more if staying in Greater Health Accommodation, or 2 weeks if using alternative accommodation, in the Greater Green Triangle Region during 2008.
3. Register their placement details and complete an online evaluation form within 30 days after completing their placement.
4. Complete their clinical placement.
Students who meet these initial criteria can access either the GGT UDRH Accommodation Assistance Scheme or the GGT UDRH Student Support Scheme.
Students can only access one allowance scheme per placement when visiting the GGT region. The GGT UDRH reserves the right to not award an allowance even if a student believes they meet all of the eligibility criteria and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
