Accommodation Assistance Scheme

This scheme is designed to assist students with the costs of accommodation when residing in our own accommodation, or that of our partners.

To be eligible for this scheme students must:

1. Meet the initial eligibility criteria.

2. Adhere to our policy guidelines at all times during their placement.

3. Leave the accommodation premises tidy and without damage.

Payment is retrospective and is only awarded once the online Evaluation Form is completed. Payment is made via cheque and payment may take up to 8 weeks.

Students can only access one allowance scheme per placement when visiting the GGT region. The GGT UDRH reserves the right to not award an allowance even if a student believes they meet all of the eligibility criteria and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.

GGT UDRH Accommodation

To be eligible for this scheme students must have stayed in our Camperdown Flat; Hamilton House or Flat; Mt Gambier House; Portland House or Warrnambool House.

A $50 allowance is offered for every three weeks of placement. The maximum payment for any one placement is $200.

Partnership Accommodation

A one-off $50 allowance is offered to students staying for 2 weeks or more with our partners in our Horsham, Millicent and Naracoorte accommodation.
