Researcher Development Program (RDP)
The GGT UDRH has appointed a number of novice to mid-career range researchers as Research Assistants under the Research Development Program (RDP) since 2005. Position holders worked on existing research projects within the GGT UDRH and/or on research work they initiated that fit within the GGT UDRH's main research foci. Their research capacity was developed through mentorship, regular education and training programs and a 'hands on' approach to participation in research programs.

Participation
RDP placements were advertised nationally and on our website.
More than one researcher could be placed into the RDP program within a given calendar year dependant on funding. RDP placements could be full-time or part-time and were completed over one or two years.
