Dr Nathalie Davis holds a PhD from the University of Geneva in Switzerland and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research Methods from Monash University, Australia. She is a Research Fellow with the GGT UDRH and is a co-investigator on a number of projects in the areas of metabolic syndrome, depression, and diabetes prevention, including the project Diabetes Prevention for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Populations.

Her research interests include the prevention of diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular disease, mental health, the possible role of inflammatory markers in metabolic syndrome and depression, and the link between vitamin D and diabetes.  Nathalie is also interested in reducing health disparities between the rural and metropolitan population and within CALD groups. She has given numerous research presentations in Australia and overseas at universities, conferences and community health arenas and her publications include peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals and contracted reports. Nathalie was previously employed as a Scientist with Ilex Oncology Research in Geneva, Switzerland. She held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Geneva in 2001.
