Senior Research Fellow (PHCRED)
Dr Mark Morgan (MA, BM Bch, FRACGP, MRCGP, DRCOG)is a Senior Research Fellow with the Department's Primary Health Care Research Evaluation and Development (PHCRED) program. He is a partner and General Practitioner in Hills Medical Service in Aldgate, South Australia where he provides the full range of longitudinal family care from antenatal to palliative care with a particular interest in chronic disease management. Dr Morgan is currently involved with the True Blue project which is examining models of collaborative care for depression in patients with the chronic diseases diabetes and heart disease. He has been researching the use of Australian medical records in pay for performance schemes. He is also active in an advisory and mentoring role for Department staff and PHCRED bursary holders. His research interests include quality improvement in general practice and collaborative care for chronic disease management in a primary care setting. Dr Morgan is also a clinical tutor with the University of Adelaide.
