Dr Mark Morgan

Dr Mark Morgan (MA, BM Bch, FRACGP, MRCGP, DRCOG) is a Senior Research Fellow with the Department. He is a partner and general practitioner in Hills Medical Service in Aldgate, South Australia where he provides the full range of longitudinal family care from antenatal to palliative care, with a particular interest in chronic disease management.
Dr Morgan is currently involved with the True Blue project which is examining models of collaborative care for depression in patients with the chronic diseases diabetes and heart disease. He has been researching the use of Australian medical records for comprehensive audit and in pay-for-performance schemes.
Dr Morgan is also an Associate Investigator with the Department's APHCRI Centre of Research Excellence in Primary Health Care microsystems and was active in an advisory and mentoring role for Department staff and PHCRED bursary holders. His research interests include quality improvement in general practice and collaborative care for chronic disease management in a primary care setting.
Dr Morgan is a clinical tutor with the University of Adelaide and with Flinders University.
