Originally from Zambia, Dino completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Leisure Services Administration from the University of Victoria, British Columbia and an International MBA from York University.  He has worked in the Caribbean, Canada, Spain, Greece and Australia with various organisations in wide-ranging sectors including sports, education, development, humanitarian aid and public health. Prior to joining Deakin University as Program Manager for the Department's NHMRC projects, Dino worked for the Burnet Institute in Melbourne, Victoria, as International Health Program Manager for health projects undertaken in Laos, Myanmar (Burma) and China.  Dino is a member of the Board of Directors for Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) Australia. His interests include strategy and governance of international non-governmental organisations.
