Benjamin Philpot (BSc (Advanced Mathematics & Computing), Grad Dip (Actuarial Studies)) is Research Fellow and biostatistician with the GGT UDRH. His main work largely consists of data analysis, and provision of methodological and statistical advice. Benjamin is also actively involved in writing articles with other researchers for publication.
Benjamin's research interests include chronic disease prevention and management, particularly research into cardiovascular disease, diabetes and depression. Benjamin is currently analysing data relating to these research projects:

Benjamin is an associate investigator on the NHMRC Partnership Project Grant: Mothers After Gestational Diabetes in Australia (MAGDA) study; Preventing Diabetes in Pregnancy from progressing to Type 2 Diabetes: Macrolevel System Change in South Australia and Victoria.
